Let’s be honest. Our lives are full of challenges, pressures and uncertainties. The workplace is constantly changing; the culture is changing; the roles of men and women are changing. And we’re caught in the middle of it often feeling confused about how to respond. But it doesn’t have to be that way. God has a clear vision for us in His Word and in the Good News of Jesus Christ for what it means to be a man. Together we can discover it and live it to the full. First Baptist Men’s Ministry exists to make that happen. So whether you are ready to dive in or just put your toe in the water, we invite you to join us on this grand adventure.
Our Men’s Ministry offers guys several ways to connect.
Bible Study
There’s no better way to build relationships than by studying God’s word together. It gives us the opportunity to learn together and encourage each other as we incorporate biblical principles into our daily lives and relationships. Our Men’s Group study happens on Monday evenings from 6pm to 8:15pm. We start with a dinner that is available anytime between 6pm to 7pm (so come when you can). It is a great time to hang out and chat, while having a meal together. We then move into our study time at 7pm. Our Bible study runs fall through spring, and we take the summers off.
Events
We love to get together around a BBQ, around a baseball, disc golfing, on a field playing a game of Kubb – any activity where we can get to know each other and have fun doing it! We also like to get out in the community and lend a helping hand where needed. Be sure to check our Events page to find out what’s coming up!
Retreat
Sometimes you just need to get away from it all, and our Men’s Retreat is a great way to get away and enjoy a few days of encouragement, fun, and relaxation. Check out our Events page for updates on dates and locations.
